Why the ocean?

EcoElectronix was built on the idea that everyday products shouldn't cost the planet something back. Our oceans regulate the climate, feed billions of people, and are home to more life than anywhere else on Earth — and they need help. So we made a simple commitment: 1% of our profits go directly toward protecting them.

Where your 1% goes

• Planting sea trees. We fund the planting and protection of mangroves — coastal "sea trees" that capture carbon at a far higher rate than land forests, prevent shoreline erosion, and give fish, crabs, and birds a place to nest and grow.
• Cleaning our waters. A portion of every donation supports ocean and beach cleanup efforts, pulling plastic and debris out of the water before it harms marine life.
• Protecting marine habitats. We support the restoration of kelp forests and coral reefs — critical ecosystems that are disappearing fast.

Why it matters to us

We're a small, family-owned business based in California. We don't have a massive marketing budget or a Fortune 500 sustainability department — what we have is a product people use every day, and a belief that every sale can do a little good. One percent isn't everything, but multiplied by every stapler we sell, it adds up to real mangroves planted, real coastline cleaned, and real marine habitat protected.
